Chris KUTCHUKIAN :: DRUMS

Chris Kutchukian began playing drums at 6 years old. He went on to acquire a degree from Berklee College of Music which gave him a broad, solid expertise in music theory and practice.

He teaches percussion, and in addition, he has played in numerous bands including the X-Rays, Black Eye, the Dave Keller Band, Science Fixtion and Gordon Stone.

Chris brings extraordinary dynamics to each performance, regularly altering drum patterns during different sections of a song, and immediately responding to developments in solos with improvised percussion flourishes/patterns. An accomplished student of percussion and live performance, he always impresses on the bandstand, and both anchors and broadens each song.
