BILL DARROW :: GUITAR
Bill Darrow has played guitar in New England rock, blues, jazz and R&B bands for several decades. He has performed all over New England, from Boston to Portland, Maine, Burlington, Vermont to Northampton and Cambridge, Massachusetts to Plattsburgh, New York and all points in between.
He can be heard on multiple CDs recorded over the years with various band, including the Vibrokings and the Left Eye Jump Band. Bill loves American "roots" music written and recorded during from the 1940s to the 1970s. He prides himself in playing solid rhythm chops locked-in with the drums and bass, and dynamic solos that start with accessible figures and build in compression and impact.
Bill considers it a privilege to work with Joe Moore, whom he describes as a powerhouse encyclopedia of American popular music, with expansive range, hugely imaginative solos, and impeccable taste.
